4 Bedroom House in Dripping Springs

Panoramic Hill Country views can be seen for miles from this well-cared-for 11+ acre eclectic getaway just north of Dripping Springs. Star-gaze from the cozy fire pit (or hilltop observatory with lounge chairs and a hammock) or relax in the four rocking chairs on the covered back deck. For those outdoor enthusiasts, get energized with a hike down meandering trails to the seasonal creek. If hot, take a dip in the pool. If cold, fire up the hot tub. If the weather is rough, play the Wii! There are many wineries, distilleries, and breweries close by.
The TV's are equipped with a Roku that provides Netflix, Disney Plus, YouTube, ESPN, and many other channels. The very large bounce house can be rented for $150 during your stay and I will help to set it up. I will not send a payment request until ~2 days before your arrival to ensure the weather is suitable.
The kitchen features custom cabinetry, stainless appliances, and plenty of room for the chef. It is fully stocked with pots and pans, a coffee maker, and an espresso machine with all the K-cups and creamer pods you will need, paper towels, dishes, glasses, etc. You just need to bring your food and drink and you are all set! We probably have it if you think you need it, so feel free to reach out and ask before you pack it or buy it.
There is a king-sized bed and a full-length couch on the first floor. There is a queen-sized bed in one room on the 3rd floor and a two-twin mattress trundle bed in another room. The main bedroom is on the 4th floor and has a king-sized bed.
There is a propane grill on the back deck that overlooks the pool and the vista. Please clean the grill tray after use to prevent flare-ups.
If you need to check in early or check out late let me know and I will check with the maids to see if that is possible. The charge to do so is $20 per hour.

Summary: We rented Jim's house for a getaway with friends and family. He was incredibly responsive and helpful. The house is well equipped (kitchen, grill, linens). And it's in a gorgeous location. Close to Austin but nestled in the splendor and quiet of the Hill Country. An absolutely gorgeous place to relax. We will definitely be back!

Summary: This property was amazing! Our 3 teens had plenty of space to spread out and loved all the trails on the property. The view was the best part. We also really enjoyed visiting the local breweries and all the small boutiques downtown.

Summary: We stayed for a week in this lovely home. It was two families, so four adults and two kids 7 and 8 years old. We had an amazing time, despite some unfortunately cold weather that was outside of anyone’s control (Feb is always a gamble). The kids loved the bouncy house, and we all appreciated the hot tub. At night the area is so quiet and dark which makes for perfect stargazing. The house feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere but you’re only a 30 min drive from Austin when traffic is good. James is a great host - very easy to communicate with and friendly and responsiveWe’d definitely stay again if we’re able. Don’t think, just book it :-)

Summary: We booked this house for a 5 day stay. We were 5 adults staying here to surprise my husband for his 50th birthday. There was plenty of room for all of us to sleep comfortably. This house has so many spaces to hang out, either with your group or alone if you need some space. I think my favorite spot (besides in the pool) was the lounge sectional on the back deck. This house is also stocked with things you might have forgotten to pack such as sunscreen, bar soap, or shampoo/conditioner. The homeowners are friendly and communicate well. Highly recommend this property!

Summary: This is an amazing property with gorgeous views. James was very prompt at responding when we had a question. Don't worry about forgetting anything--it is probably stocked in the house. So many amenities!! We went to Dripping Springs to view the Perseids meteor shower, Nothing like laying by the pool, watching the stars. :) We highly recommend this property.
